Mandrake Greeting Card

For all the lovers out there!

This illustration was part of my personal "inktober". I drew something Tudor themed, and using indian inks, every day in October '20 and September '21. 

The prompt was "Love".

I researched some Tudor love/ fertility potion recipes, and noticed that mandrake root was quite comonly used. Mandrake roots resemble humans... #creepy.

Printed on white 148mm square (folded), recycled 350gsm heavy card, with a matte finish. Inside left blank for your message. Comes with it's own envelope.
