Nutcracker Season

Edinburgh Ballet Theatre (EBT) is a not- for- profit, non- professional community dance company. We rely on ticket sales and fees from our dancers to continue creating high quality shows with our diverse and enthusiastic cast. In short, Edinburgh Ballet Theatre is a labour of love for all involved. 

I drew this piece in one sitting during a casual sketching session- no planning, just vibes. I used photographs by Perry Jonsson from a dress rehearsal of our 2025 production of The Nutcracker for reference. 

I auctioned the original artwork during the performance, and was able to donate half the proceeds towards EBT's next performance! The piece was so popular among the cast that I had a limited run of prints made up, and have pledged to continue to donate 50% from their sale profits.

Originally A3, drawn with alcohol markers and coloured pencils on 220gsm smooth paper. 

Printed at original size (A3) on white, recycled 300gsm chunky card, with a matte finish.
