The Piper

War, huh, what is it good for?

This piece was part of my personal "inktober". I made 31 illustrations for as many episodes of the Magnus Archives podcast, by Rusty Quill (horror fiction), throughout October '24.

I used indian inks (either black or white, on contrasting A5 paper) to make random "blobs" which functioned as frames/ backdrops, and then drew on top of them using acrylic markers and ink pens. 

This was episode 7: "The Piper".

Original cut to fit an oval frame, 176mm x 125mm NOTE: Original is double sided with a different illustration on the back.

Printed on white, recycled 350gsm heavy card, with a matte finish. A6 (postcard size) 105 x 148 mm. 

Giclee printed for display on Canson Bryta extra smooth, white, 310gsm paper, with a light gloss finish. Cut to fit an oval frame, 176mm x 125mm. Sold with black painted wooden oval frame 220mm x 170mm.
