Dani-Cat

A giant bengal cat, playing with a climber descending from iconic climbing route "Daniboy" (8a) in Spartacus area, Kalymnos, Greece.

Part of my ongoing giant cats collection! Cats in Kalymnos are ubiquitous, so I like to imagine them dominating the landscape and fitting into places where they definitely shouldn't be!

Originally painted as a double page spread in my sketchbook, using acrylic and gouache paint and coloured pencils.

Unframed Print: Printed on white, recycled 350gsm heavy card, with a matte finish. 210mm x 105mm.

Framed Print: Giclee printed for display on cream Hahmehmuhle Bamboo, smooth, 290gsm paper with a matt finish (230mm x 115mm). Hand made and painted MDF frame. Dimensions W 287mm, H 167mm, D 50mm. NOTE: Sketchbook is blank behind print.
