This illustration was part of my personal "inktober". I drew something Tudor themed, and using indian inks, every day in October '20 and September '21. 

The prompt was "Beauty".

Elizabeth I of England was the daughter of Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn. She coined herself as the Virgin Queen, and invested heavily in her appearance, and recordings of it, to support this idea! She famously wore white face makeup to cover her small pox scars and preserve the illusion of youth and purity. Ironically, the makeup itself might have been doing more damage than good because of it's high lead content.

Printed on white 148mm square (folded), recycled 350gsm heavy card, with a matte finish. Inside left blank for your message. Comes with it's own envelope.
